Symtuza Information
Symtuza dosage
The usual dose is one tablet, taken by mouth every. Your dose is determined by your doctor and is based on your medical condition and history of treatment. If you are unable to take the entire tablet whole, it may be split with a pill cutter. If you split the tablet, take each half immediately.
For best results, take this around the same time every day. Setting an alarm can help ensure you take Symtuza optimally
Do not miss a dose as it can affect treatment. If you do miss a dose, you can take it when you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, you can skip the missed dose and continue with your schedule. Do not take double doses as it will not improve your condition. You won’t “catch up” and you may have an increased risk of side effects or an adverse reaction.
How Symtuza works
Symtuza is a combination of 4 different drugs to help lower the amount of HIV in the body. They work together to prevent HIV’s ability to infect new cells and replicate itself.
