How to Use Pataday Eye Drops?
Follow the dosing instructions from your doctor, they will tell you how much to use and how often to use Pataday. Do not use more of the medication than instructed.
If you wear contact lenses remove them before you put the drops in your eyes. Wait about 5-10 minutes after using Pataday to put them back in. If your eyes are red do not use contact lenses.
Only use the brand of Pataday prescribed by your doctor. Different brands may work differently.
To use Pataday eye drops wash your hands, tilt back your head and, pressing down on the skin below your lower eyelid, pull the eyelid away from your eye to make a space. Drop the medicine into the pouch you’ve created, let go of your eyelid and close your eye gently. Don’t blink. Keep your eye closed for 1-2 minutes to allow the medicine to cover your eye. If you don’t think the Pataday got into your eye properly, repeat the direction with another drop. In order to keep the medicine as germ-free as possible don’t let the Pataday applicator tip touch any surface and keep the container tightly closed.
Pataday Eye Drops Drug Interactions
Some medications should never be used together because of drug interactions. In other cases medications can still be used together even though they interact, but your doctor will have to adjust the doses. When you take Pataday make sure you tell your doctor about all of the medications you take so that they can accurately monitor for interactions.
