Parnate Information
Parnate dosage
It is taken orally as often as recommended by your doctor. You can take your dose with food or on an empty stomach. Your dose depends on your condition and history of treatment. You may need to take more than one dose a day to keep a consistent level of medication in our body. The maximum dose is 60 milligrams a day or fewer.
You may start treatment with the lowest possible dose to prevent side effects. Your dose may increase as your body becomes accustomed to the drug. You should follow your doctor’s instructions and take this product exactly as prescribed.
Taking extra doses will not hasten treatment and can increase your risk of side effects. It should take up to 3 weeks to notice the full benefits of treatment. If you miss a dose, you can take it when you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, you can skip the missed dose and continue with your schedule.
