What is Otezla used for?
Otezla (Apremilast) is used to treat adult patients with active psoriatic arthritis and moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. It works to treat psoriatic arthritis by reducing the pain and swelling and improves the flexibility of the joints. For patients with moderate plaque psoriasis it reduces the thickening, redness and scaling of the skin.
Otezla can also be used in Behcet’s disease to help reduce the pain and improve the healing of mouth sores.
Otezla (Apremilast) Information
