    What is Gliclazide used for?

    How to Use Gliclazide?

    The usual recommended dose of gliclazide goes from 80mg to 320mg daily. Doses at 160mg or above should be taken in two equally divided doses. Diamicron should be taken with food when possible. Your daily dose should not exceed 320mg.

    Your doctor will figure out the best dose for you based on your medical conditions, body weight, or other medications. If your doctor recommends a dose different from what is listed here, don’t change the way your take your medication without talking to your doctor first.
