What is Caverject used for?
Caverject is used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult male patients. It is a vasodilator that helps improve blood flow to the penis when engaging in sexual intercourse. This helps to produce an erection and maintain it. Do not take this medication if you have a penile implant. It is not recommended to aid in sexual function without erectile dysfunction as it can lead to permanent damage and inability to naturally achieve an erection. How to use Caverject?
Carefully read the medication guide before taking Caverject. When you buy Caverject online from Your Canada Drug Store, we send it in the manufacturer’s packaging. Your doctor will also provide instructions and counseling. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions before using Caverject.
This is injected into the penis as recommended by your doctor. The injection site should be clean and sanitized with an alcohol swab before applying your dose. You may need to vary where you inject your dose to avoid problems under the skin. Injecting it on a different side of the penis can be helpful.
Once you have applied your injection with Caverject, hold down the injection site with a swab to prevent bruising. Call your doctor if the needle breaks during injection and call your doctor immediately. Do not use a bent needle to apply your dose.
Your dose is determined by your medical condition and history of treatment. It lasts for around 60 minutes and can take up to 20 minutes to take effect. It should only be used once in a 24 hour period. The recommended maximum dose is 3 times a week on nonconsecutive days.
You should not take this if you have sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma or your health precludes sexual activity.
