    Nevanac Eye Drops Information

    Nevanac dosage

Your personal dose will depend on your condition, the dose and response to treatment. Following your doctor’s instructions will provide the best results.

The usual dose is three drops a day in the affected eye before ocular surgery, the day of surgery, and continued for 14 days after surgery unless instructed otherwise by your doctor. If you wear contact lenses, they should not be used during treatment.

Wash your hands before handling or applying the product. Shake the bottle well before using your dose. No not allow the dropper to touch any surfaces, including your fingers, to avoid contamination. Try to avoid touching the dropper to your eye to prevent damage to the eye.

To apply the drops, tilt your head back and lower your eyelid to create a pocket. Use the dropper to place a drop in the pocket. Return your head to a comfortable position and close your eyes for two minutes. Avoid blinking and rubbing your eye. The steps for your next doses are the same so simply repeat them.

Once you are finished simply replace the dropper in the bottle. It does not need to be sanitized or washed. If you need other drops to manage your condition, wait at least 5 minutes before using a different product.

Call your doctor if your condition gets worse or if you do not notice an improvement. Do not start treatment early or take extra doses. This will not hasten treatment and may increase your risk of experiencing side effects.

Your doctor may recommend artificial tears if you experience dry eye syndrome.
