    What is Bystolic used for?

Bystolic (Nebivolol) is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). Individuals that experience high blood pressure are at higher risk of suffering from heart attack, stroke and kidney problems. It belongs to the family of drugs called beta blockers. Beta blockers work by regulating the action of substances, such as epinephrine, to help lower your heart rate and decrease pressure. Do not share Bystolic with friends and family that have similar symptoms. This may not be an effective treatment and may result in adverse reactions. Do not take Bystolic if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. It can harm an unborn baby and the medication may pass to breast milk. inform your doctor if you are taking any antiarrhythmic agents such as disopyramide.

    Bystolic Information

    How to use Bystolic?

When prescribing Bystolic your doctor will likely provide instructions on its use and inform you of its side effects. The manufacturer provides a drug information pamphlet for reference and a complete list of side effects. When you buy Bystolic online from Your Canada Drug Store, we always send the products in the manufacturer’s packaging.

Your dose is based on your medical conditions and response to treatment. Bystolic works best when taken consistently, preferably around the same time, every day. If you happen to miss a dose, take it when you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and take your next dose on schedule. Do not take a second dose to make up for a missed dose.

This will not accelerate treatment and can lead to an increased risk of side effects. It can take some weeks for the medicine to take effect. Do not stop taking Bystolic once you begin to feel better. High blood pressure does not have an overt feeling of sickness, but stopping treatment too early can lead to risks to your health.

If you do not see any improvement, or if your condition gets worse, contact your healthcare professional for advice.
